The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet: pretty much everything we look for in a hotel room for an overnight stay.
Wondering if key cards are an ongoing issue here. I went back down on the elevator to the lobby, leaving my wife with the luggage outside our room door, and had the desk attendant re-set our key cards.and they both worked when I arrived back at the room. We used the available luggage cart to bring our things up in the elevator, and.big surprise.our key cards did not work. We usually request a room on the uppermost floor to avoid overhead noise, and were assigned a room on the 5th (top) floor. She re-set their key cards and sent them on their way, and then completed our check-in. Check-in was smooth, although the desk attendant was interrupted twice by two different guests whose just-issued key cards did not work.
The hotel was easy to find using GPS and access from the highways is also easy. Planning to move on to Savannah the following morning, I looked for a hotel on that side of Charleston, and the review comments on TripAdvisor led us to choose this one. Some FFLs around town will do a transfer for $10. Also notice the FFL transfer fees, these are higher than pawn shops for non-members (pawn shops are the highest you will find). You can visit the websites of the others around town, dont take my word for it. Also take note, their range prices are the highest in the city. Again, they use the cheapest, hand reloaded stuff they can find. If you figure out the price per round with current ammo prices vs what they sell per round, thats 215-300% markup. For example: if you rent something that has a 30 round capacity, they will hand you the magazine with 20 rounds in it. The reason for this is that they do not fill up the magazine. They insist on reloading the magazines themselves.

They charge by the magazine and not by the box of ammo normally (with full autos). All their ammunition is the cheapest reloads sold. These folks prey on the uninformed and novice shooters. The problem is with the price and customer service. Took my brother for his Birthday to shoot some of their autos. Not only did I never receive a call to try and smooth things over but I was pushed off by the girl on the phone when I called to follow up again.Waste of money on faulty ammo and a bad experience all together.Save yourself some time, money and bad experiences and find somewhere else to go.
They told me their manager only works weekdays and she would have to call me back on Monday. Once I arrived there I had to pay to get the gun unjammed and the guys/owner of the store was very frustrated with how Quickshot continues to sell these bullets when this is the third gun in a week they had to unjam because of the faulty ammo.ON TOP OF IT ALLWhen I called the shop to let them know how dangerous this was and how I think they should do something about it and so does the gun shop they sent me to. Needless to say not only was it costly right off the rip but they where also faulty and they sent me off with a bullet stuck in the chamber to get it unstuck by a gun shop on Savannah Hwy. (Friday)It wasnt long until I ran out of my own ammo and had to purchase some of Quickshots. Faulty Ammo.Went in to get some extra practice with my 9mm gun.
